The Heart

A short piece of facts about the heart.

Whilst browsing the web I came across the design company Revie. I was inspired by the faced paced animations produced by them. Their animations are truly fantastic, full of interesting information, visual flourishes and fun colours. I tried to emulate the style of story telling, balancing visuals with concise but engaging facts about the subject matter.

This project is a pretty equal balance of 2D and 3D elements. I used particles systems for both the dots forming the heart and the plumage of the feather. For the bird I created a simple 3D model and rig to animate it.
